ABOUT THE FILM

The film tells about three main stories of genocide in the world. John Sestre is a 67 year old Jewish artist born in Chicago. His stepfather escaped the Armenian Genocide after 1915 and went to the United States. Ellen is John's wife, whose family of her grandmother survived the Holocaust. Kurd Alan, his three sisters and his father were living in Halabja in Kurdistan when Saddam's planes attacked the city on March 16, 1988. All three stories are different, but they are united by one word - "genocide".
